Surprise Mid-Week Drop, End-Cuts are Flowing, & The Weekend Triple-Threat! TFN

Spring has certainly sprung here in the beautiful Appalachian Mountains, with some consistently warm and mellow weather. We appreciate these shoulder seasons so much for those doors-opened, cool shop days!
After a non-stop weekend filming promotional content with Greyson Weltyk the team was EXHAUSTED, with Head of Media, Waylon and the Boss Man taking the day off Monday to recoup. Regardless, the weekend’s results were a HUGE success. Waylon has some SERIOUS editing ahead of him, but we couldn’t be more excited for the growth of our Gator Piss line and the insane products coming down the pipe! Stay tuned, we’re VERY close….
Our Shop Lead, Jay got some fresh ink over the weekend, showing up with an impressive new piece. As a shop of hardworking blue collar blacksmiths, these types of developments sometimes dominate the social interactions. Perhaps an upcoming Staff Interview Question might reveal Jay’s latest artwork to the public. In the meantime, take it from us, thing is SICK!
With Blade Show Atlanta always in the back of our mind, we chose to move around things in our drop schedule a bit this week. Jay and the guy have been working to produce drop-runs large enough that some portion of stock can be held for the upcoming event. This week, however, we underperformed a bit and made the last-minute pivot in order to keep the previous layout in production. Another example of how in business you have to be ready to adapt and overcome, and often those battles are hidden from the public eye. Regardless, our Triple-Threat drop this weekend is quite the consolation, and another exciting layout is just behind it for next week’s!
Several weeks back we opened, and quickly re-closed our Tobin RM-1 rolling mill pre-orders. We were THRILLED to see the response and rapidly fill our first run of pre-orders. Having survived the long journey “across the pond” these bad-boys have arrived at Baker HQ and are ready to ROLL. Boss-Man Coy decided on a surprise drop this mid-week, reaching out late on Tuesday with
plans to drop a Low-Layer Twist Damascus he had laying around. A fitting gift to our ever-supportive customers, these are the sorts of surprises we like! As of now, there are still a few bars available on the site but you will have to act fast! Find them here.
With an increase in relative production the end-cut and stick bundles have begun the pick up. Nearly every day we’re filling another box and each week bundles are being shipped out as fast as they can be purchased! Inside the Media
Although the three consecutive days of filming were certainly exhausting for our media team, perhaps the greatest load lands on the back of our Head of Media, Waylon. Who, over the next few weeks, will hustle to compile several promotional videos, tutorials, and other media for the release of some BRAND NEW Gator Piss Products due to drop very soon. While he whittles away tirelessly in his office, we all have been working to ease the pressure of the daily social media activity to give him space and time as he moves through the editing process. The stoke for this product-release has hit the highest possible levels as we wait, with bated breath, for him to finish up the last step before we unveil this development to the public!
In an effort to once again stray from the norm and provide fresh and engaging media every
day, we asked the shop guys another round of “Dumb Questions from the Internet”. These questions are always a hoot to run past the shop guys, especially in the thick of a busy work week, but we love them and we know you do too. Besides, something to break the ice and keep things light is absolutely essential with such a gruff staff of redneck dudes.
