Phoenix is reborn from our Damascus GoMai CuShim. We took esthetic blem billets from that run, restacked them, set it over a new core, and sent the whole thing back into the fire to repattern. What came out is warmer and deeper than its parent — copper running through the steel like banked embers, large areas of black 1084 from the original cores and layered structure of its GoMai origin reforged into something entirely its own.
 
This is part of our Reincarnation Series — steel reforged from past steel into something brand new. Because each bar is built from blem stock, the pattern is a one-time run that can't really be reproduced. We probably won't be making it again, and we don't take custom orders on this line. Once these are gone, they're gone for good.
 
The copper-forward pattern makes Phoenix a natural for makers chasing warmth and contrast — knives, jewelry, tattoo machine bodies, putters, grips, and anything where the steel itself is the centerpiece.

- Cladding is comprised of GoMai CuShim 1084/15n20 + nickel shims layered over a 1084 core.

- All bar edges are ground back to 100% clean steel
