Built as a three-layer GoMai laminate: a 1084/15N20 Damascus cladding forged in chevron, a copper shim, and a pure 1084 high-carbon core. The cladding was produced using a new mosaic process here at Baker Forge — one that keeps the chevron geometry directional and consistent across the face of every billet. Etch it and the contrast is immediate: Damascus on the outside, copper burning through at the seam.

- All bar edges are ground back to 100% clean steel
