"Thaw" begins where IceStorm ended. We took billets that didnt pass our QC process for (esthetic reasons) from our IceStorm run — steel most shops would scrap — restacked them with fresh copper shims, fusion-welded new cladding using our copper-to-carbon process, set the whole stack over a new core, and ran it back through the press to pull a completely new pattern. The cold lineage of its parent is still in the bones, but the steel moves differently now: bright, fluid, alive, with copper threading through every layer.
 
This is part of our Reincarnation Series — steel reforged from past steel into something that has never existed before. Because each bar is built from blem stock, We likely won't be running it again, and we don't take custom orders on this line. When it's gone, it's gone.

- Cladding is comprised of IceStorm 1084/15n20 + nickel shims layered with copper shims over a 1084 core.

- All bar edges are ground back to 100% clean steel 
- Billets come fully annealed
