A new week at Baker HQ began with the return of our fearless leader, CEO Coy Baker fresh off of Blade Show Texas. With plenty of stories from the fun weekend attending with his wife as well as Baker Test Blade Maker, Jordan Berthelot, Gator Piss Co-Creator Greyson Weltyk, and a host of other friends in the business. The anticipation for our booth at Blade Show Atlanta has never been higher around the company!
It was a usual production week for the team, knocking out some INSANE wrought iron layouts that we’ll discuss below from our last bit of leftover MASSIVE chain links. Our media guy Waylon covered the process in a video that hit socials today around 12pm EST. Check it out!
Our Shop Lead, Jay Baker sustained an eye injury to round out last week, he thought it might be minor but nearly lost his eye to an infection over the weekend! A close-call with a VERY important member of our squad, but a good reminder that this work is rough and the proper measures are necessary. Happily back at work bright and early Monday, we trust Jay is on the mend.

A calmer week inspires a quick reminder to our faithful customers; in a more unique way than most businesses we are given the opportunity to see our product play out as an ingredient in your art. Although we all play a part in the ultimate result, your skill and talent inspire our development just as your creativity fuels ours. We are often reminded how blessed we are to carve out a spot for ourselves in this amazing field and hope to continue to contribute to the growth of the community as a whole.

Inside the Media
We convinced Head of Media, Waylon Hagaman to allow us a window into his studio work once again this week. In a reel posted yesterday he showcases his process in the studio with a GORGEOUS recent project from Luke Bright at Barrel Falls Bladeworks. A close friend to the business, this collaboration between Waylon and Luke is a great testament to the teamwork of some talented people. If you missed it, catch it on any of our socials!

Sneak Peek 👀
This weekend, we’re thrilled to reintroduce Wrought GoMai, a layout that’s been absent from our drops for nearly a year and is a true gem for wrought iron lovers. As Coy shared in our Thursday drop reel, we saw how much you adored this steel’s wild patterning when we released it mid-last year, so we tapped into our remaining batch of high-quality wrought iron to craft this drop. With its wrought iron cladding, nickel shim, and damascus core, it’s available in both Wavy and Ladder patterns, offering that classic, hard-to-find look. Secure yours early on the Baker App—especially after recent drops have been flying off the app shelves—or join us for the full release on Saturday at 8pm EST.
