3 New Machines Running, 2 Tired Employees, & 1 Brand New Layout! TFN

What a week it’s been! Monday started a little slow for a few of us this week as Coy flew back from my Montana wedding late-late Sunday night and didn’t arrive home till the early morning hours. This left Baker HQ with a fresh & excited group of blacksmiths ready to knock out production even without their fearless leader! With a solid start to our production week before the boss even made it in, we set ourselves up for quite the productive run. We’re STOKED to report that the power for our stainless production line is now fully installed. Everything is HOT and ready to roll for our very first public stainless damascus drop! Now also with power is our new shear. Already operational and in-use, this shearing machine helps to simplify the layout process in manufacturing. With a new custom storage

rack behind its station and all the necessary sheets of copper nickel and bronze, Cole is set up for action like NEVER before! Now the head engineer is wrapping up a return tray for bringing cut pieces back to the front of the machine for ease in loading/unloading. 

With two systems already under new power this week we couldn’t stop there, we also made significant headway on the installation of our milling machine. With new vises mounted and hooked up to the DRO all we have left is a cooling system and this bad boy will be ready to roll!

In the heat of a season vastly predicated on the finalization of our stainless line Jay and the production guys have a BRAND NEW layout to introduce to you this weekend. A powerful adaption of our FireStorm layout, this one was inspired and lobbied for by our test blade makers. When you guys conceptualize it AND ask, we deliver!

In the midst of a busier week, Waylon and I have been working closely with Greyson of Gator Piss and Grey Blades as we finish up the final promotional material for our newest product– Grime Reaper. Just as we have with all of our collaborative projects like Gator Piss and Gator Skin, Grey will serve as a perfect spokesperson for the appeal & use of this breakthrough new product and we wouldn’t have it any other way!
