Happy Friday, Makers!
This week came with a big shuffle as the entire Baker Forge family awaited the arrival of a new baby, Juliet Rae Baker. With the due date growing closer we coordinated and planned ahead, knowing Coy may have to leave work at any moment. The call finally came on Tuesday afternoon and our CEO headed out. Leaving Jay and the guys to prepare for the usual load of custom orders as well as the famed weekend drop. In the time while Coy has been absent things have actually gone quite smoothly. Jay stepped in for the drop

announcement video on Wednesday and then led our manufacturing team to an exceptional week in production. In addition, newly returned shop-hand, Sam hasn’t missed a beat over the last few months. Now fully reintegrated into his previous role, Sam’s helping hand around the HQ has been abundantly helpful. Glad to have you back, buddy!
As the week progressed our teams tackled the usual workload, Custom Orders, Gator Piss fulfillment & shipping. And, of course, a full week of entertaining media on socials. Even without Boss-Man around, this team is the embodiment of a strong, stable, and well-rounded staff. It’s in these “quiet” weeks that we feel the most blessed to have a competent and skillful group behind our company.

Inside the Media
Our weekly Monday question on socials was quite the success to kick off the work week. We asked viewers: “What is the easiest mistake in knifemaking?” The responses were priceless, everything from “Starting” to “Never starting”was suggested in the over 100+ comments. Needless to say, both our team and our social media fans seem to enjoy this weekly tradition and with the recent response, we wont be killing the series anytime soon!
Yesterday a familiar face popped up in our Gator Piss media. Some of you may recognize his sarcastic tone, but he’s traded his boring Shark costume for new Gator-themed digs. It all started outside the pit at Blade Show Atlanta a few weeks back when I drunkenly suggested we put Kyle (A.K.A “Sharky”) of Flying Shark Knives in a poorly-fitting Gator Costume and have him read off random facts for a social media series. To my delight both Sharky and Coy validated my idea with a confident, “Hell yeah, let’s do it!”. Within days of our return from the show I already had a costume on Sharky’s door in Louisiana. After providing Sharky with all the details and facts I hoped he’d film, he threw on the under-sized outfit and went to it. With over 100 degree Louisiana summer heat and his classic sarcastic tone, Kyle really knocked it out of the park on this one. Stay tuned as we continue the series with more fun facts and wild circumstances. Huge thanks to our friend Sharky for going to such lengths for the love of the comedy, check out his work here!

Sneak Peek 👀
This weekend, we’re reviving a cornerstone of Baker Forge with GoMai Cu-Shim in Ripple and Chevron patterns. As Shop Lead Jay Baker shared, this original layout—absent from our drops for a while—combines 100-layer Damascus cladding with a copper shim and an 80CRV2 core for a perfect balance of striking visuals and dependable durability. Its straightforward yet elegant design makes it a must-have for makers seeking a classic. With recent drops selling quickly on the Baker Forge App, secure your preferred size Friday at noon EST, or join the full release Saturday at 8pm EST.
