Christmas-Week Preview, Stainless SanMai, MAX Makes it to Europe! TFN

Boy, this was a QUICK week for us around Baker HQ. With plenty to get done ahead of our holiday time off, the entire Baker staff hit the ground running on Monday. Jay and the shop guys launched into production to continue to build ahead for holiday-season retail drops while Coy, Bruce, and Sam all dove into order fulfillment after the BIG Tsunami drop last weekend! Waylon and I are so deep into crafting media in advance of his Christmas break I’m having to keep the calendar right next to us to keep up with all the dates! But, with great success also comes great responsibility, and although it looks like getting things done to go relax. The staff is all unified in our goal to set ourselves up for two BIG successful weeks of retail sales and entertaining marketing, even if we aren’t around to celebrate it.

Early Tuesday Jay notified me that 15 end-cut bundle/boxes were quietly hitting the website

if I wanted to let people know. Normally I would jump to our Virtual HQ Channel on IG and drop an exclusive to our dedicated audience there, but opted for the Story instead– knowing we had plenty of stock in this random drop. Within hours our hungry audience had eaten much of it up. Word on the street is there may still be a bundle or two remaining, but I’ll leave that to ya’ll to find out for yourselves. 

Also Tuesday, our CEO Coy stepped out of the office for the day to pay a quick day-trip to a regional client. A nice reminder that when things are operating as they should, even the most crucial members of our team can step away for the day without throwing everything for a loop. With well-established systems in place and a team ready to tackle their responsibilities, the progress continues undisturbed without the Boss-Man.

Aside from the normal goal of supplying our audience with plenty of exciting and entertaining daily content on social media in our absence, Jay and the crew have created quite the lineup for our time away. From this weekend’s Stainless Damascus SanMai drop straight into something unique and SPECIAL for Christmas week– and onto a first-of-the-year BANGER retail drop the week following, they DID NOT hold back. Although you may be slowly wrapping up projects and winding down for the holiday we are going to remind you now– keep those Baker App notifications “ON” over the next few weeks, if you;re a fan of us and our products, this is NOT the time to miss a drop!

We are THRILLED to announce that Gator Piss MAX (for stainless) has arrived in Europe via our friends at EuroTechni. Through their site, European-based Maker’s can now purchase our newest Gator Piss etchant, designed specifically to etch Stainless Damascus! Although these developments are often overlooked by our vastly American customer base, getting these products distributed in other countries can be challenging but once accomplished has a HUGE impact on Maker’s seeking the latest and greatest products in the field. We are celebrating alongside our friends over the pond who now have access to the latest!

I can’t tease it much without giving it away completely but following this weekend’s Stainless Damascus SanMai drop, Coy cooked up something extra special for the Christmas week. In the rush of the Christmas holiday we are going to remind you now– keep your eyes peeled before Christmas day for an announcement on the week’s offerings.

Inside the Media

Preparing content as much as three weeks ahead of publishing dates can be a real challenge. Although much of what we post is taken, edited and scheduled within a day or two of its post-date with the upcoming time off and no staff around to bother (or record) we’re working to get WAY ahead. Fortunately that gave us plenty of time to brainstorm up some funny and entertaining ideas for the holiday season. From Baker Forge themed Christmas stories to Santa’s Helpers kicking ass in steel production, there’s PLENTY to look forward to in the Baker media through the next few weeks. Given all the work that has gone into it, we hope you’ll enjoy! Although we’ll update our audience on socials in the coming week I’ll also drop a note here as well– the entire Baker team will be out of the HQ from Tuesday, December 23 till Monday January. During this time orders will be received but fulfillment will be paused until our return. Thank you for your patience during our holiday time-off.
