And just like that, we’re back at it!
Blade Show Atlanta was certainly a whirlwind. From the soft release of our brand new nano-ceramic coating; Gator Skin to the first public offering of our Stainless Damascus the Baker booth was alive with excitement. Greyson and Jordon’s Blade University Etch Class received raving reviews with nearly sold-out attendance. Following the class, a parade of excited Maker’s took over the booth, eager to try our Gator Piss etchants for themselves.

The understated perk of Blade Show is connecting with so many of our devoted customers, whether its folks we dialog with each week and finally get to hang with in person or new Maker’s just getting into our products, the face-to-face time is HUGE and we couldn't be more inspired by the encouragement we received over the packed weekend.
In a surprise turn of events, our CFO (and father of Jay & Coy) Bruce Baker decided to join us for the weekend in Atlanta. Having never attended a show, Bruce was introduced to the hot loading bay during the high-traffic move-in window, 12 hour days of standing/walking around the Cobb Galleria, and of course, the drunken brilliance of the Pit. Hobbled from days on his feet, we don’t know if Papa-Baker will join us again next year but we had a blast showing him the vibe and he deeply enjoyed meeting and connecting with many of you.
Another surprise addition to the Baker gang at the show was visiting New York state Maker, Luke Bright. A talented chef-knife aficionado, Luke jumped right into our booth, slinging

steel, Gator Piss and Skin the ENTIRE weekend. The unsung hero of our Blade Show, Luke truly stepped into his own, masterfly captaining our cramped booth and representing our brand with the utmost praise without being asked. After such an impressive performance at the show, you just might see Luke around the booth again in the years to come….
Blade Show is certainly the best place to debut the newest developments, and we’re so thankful that the timing worked for us to release both Gator Skin and our new Stainless Damascus over the weekend. The reception for both products is a huge encouragement as we continue to build our stainless production line for an eventual public drop. From engaging conversations at the booth to wild nights in the Pit, Blade Show is a tangible example of the best of this community. We’d like to thank each and every one of you that attended, visited our booth, or simply encouraged our success from afar.
In other news, we returned home late Sunday (as many exhibitors did) and immediately

unloaded the trucks, preparing to jump head-first into another crazy week. With a huge trailer load of new machines due to arrive Wednesday for our friends at Yoder the HQ was split between Will, Cole, and Jay pumping out the scheduled production and Waylon, Coy and the Yoder folks moving in several new machines. With Waylon fully in the thick of the move-in we haven’t been able to tease the new tools much, but rest assured, once these bad boys get settled into their new positions we’ll toss out some content to show them off.
We threw out a post yesterday mentioning a post-Blade Show restock just dropped on the site. Although we sold out of Gator Skin AND Stainless, we returned with a tidy little array of layouts. Now on the website, take a gander and see if you spot anything special. With the show in mind Jay and the production guys threw together an extremely diverse and well-rounded batch of layouts and we just know you’ll be stoked with what you find. Don’t miss out, check out whats available here.

Inside the Media
Waylon and I embraced a new strategy with our second year at Blade Show, choosing to embrace day-of media instead of shooting content for later use. The result was daily reels from the show as well as BTS photos from the fun. The only other content we eyed up was a long-form video recapping the entire weekend, matching last year’s goofy & playful video. While Waylon is fully-slammed with responsibilities around the HQ and likely hasn’t had a moment to edit, we hope to drop that video next week.
Stay tuned!
