Happy Friday, Makers!

We started the week with an arctic blast of freshly fallen snow, thinking that might be the extent of the storm. So, we grabbed a few photos and settled into a heavy work week. Boy, we were wrong though…snow has been falling consistently ever since. By the midweek Coy was pulling employee vehicles from the frozen muddy mess that had developed in our parking lot. Not too big an issue for a staff of redneck Appalachia boys though. We’ll take our early chances of a white Christmas, enjoy some cooler forging temps and hit the production all the same!
Eying up a little 10-day break for the staff to celebrate Christmas and the New Year just about everyone has been hustling to get our ducks in a row. Jay and the production staff are ahead on all retail production, ensuring a smooth and relaxing re-entry to work in the new year while Waylon and I plan promotions and holiday content well in advance. Rest assured you won’t even notice we’re gone with the exciting drops Coy’s got planned during our time away.
Each week before writing the newsletter I ask around the shop for any interesting details to

include. All too often the shop guys are working on the most intriguing and unique projects, usually a custom order with a high-profile client, and I’m asked not to mention details of any kind. This was once again, one such week. Although vague, I’ll say this though-- a collaboration with one of your favorite machine suppliers in this community has been going down this week and Jay says it's a mind-blower. Stay tuned for more details on this unique collab! In addition to getting ahead for the retail schedule and the super top-secret collaboration, the shop guys also tackled a quick load of Hypnotic Stainless for another custom order. A good reminder

that although many of you take advantage of our weekly retail drops (whatever they may be) you can ALWAYS hit us up for a custom order for something specific. Although quantity minimums apply, this is still a great way to get exactly what you want, in the size you want it, in a timely manner. For more info or to place a custom order with us, click here! On Wednesday we received another in MANY recent messages inquiring about available gifts in Baker Forge materials. The question of availability for finished products in our steel comes as no surprise but it got us thinking– how WOULD we find available little nic-nacs and products in Baker steel if we wanted to? So, we launched a quick directory to help customers keep up through the holiday season! We’re asking Makers with any available products in Baker materials to simply comment within the graphic so that customers can more easily find their for-sale items! If you have ANYTHING in our materials, please drop a comment on Instagram, X (formerly Twitter) or Facebook now – or, heck, comment in all three! As a final note headed into the gift-giving season: We offer a digital Baker gift card on the website. With it can purchase any of our in-stock steels, buy from drops, or shop the entire Gator Piss line. So whether you shoot this link to your significant other as a sneak peek of your Christmas requests or buy one for a fellow Maker, we GOT you. Got love for a knifemaker? Gift them their next big project with a Baker Forge gift card! Find them here.

Inside the Media
Although I’ll likely work through the holidays to keep up the consistency of a once-daily post and promotions of our weekend drops, Waylon and I have been hustling this week to get some media planned out for the weeks ahead. Each year we truly look forward to this season as a chance to theme our media a little and move away from the styles we’ve accidentally adopted throughout the year. With another Christmas holiday a few weeks away we’re gearing up for funny Christmas-themed staff interviews, compelling Monday Questions, and all the entertaining content you’ve come to know and love from Baker. One of the funnest parts of media creation is always knowing what’s next, and BOY do we have some great stuff ahead. Stay tuned through the holidays as we keep up our daily posts AND our weekly drops, the staff may be taking a couple days off but Baker NEVER sleeps.
I could spill the entire month's schedule on you right now, but I’ll keep it simple with this little teaser– more items are headed to the new Specialty Auctions page on BakerForge.com. They won’t be there this morning when you read this, and I won’t tell you when BUT sometime in the not-so-distant future you're in for another drop of exciting, unique one-off pieces straight from our latest innovations. Auctions are website only, as our app doesn't support bidding yet so whether you hear about them on socials or find them on your own, new auction items will soon hit BakerForge.com/auction!

Sneak Peek 👀
After Black Friday and our launch of Baker Specialty Auctions, we’re back to the classics — Tsunami crashes in this weekend in Wavy and Chevron. Copper-Damascus with nickel flashes layered over an 80CrV2 core — pure eye-candy that hasn’t seen a full drop in forever.
App opens tomorrow ~noon EST for early access. Full release Saturday 8pm EST.
