Happy Friday, Makers!

This week started like many do, we lit up the forges on Monday to tackle several custom batches while preparing for another exciting weekend drop for our retail customers. The real curveball came when a plethora of massive trucks arrived from the electric company. You see, for a couple of weeks we’ve been awaiting a transformer upgrade to bring in more 3-phase power, but with no specific time provided, we really didn’t know when the electric company would pull up. Unfortunately this resulted in more than a day and a half without 480v power and a vastly gridlocked parking lot while the installation took place. So with many of our larger machines without power during this time we took the opportunity to team up and mix up a MASSIVE restock of our Gator Piss etchants. The pivot helped our work week flow but you can’t overstate half a work-week without our machines…
Yesterday some exciting new GIANT patterning dies showed up at HQ. I could go into

detail about them for a bit but Coy’s looking forward to showcasing them with a video, so stay tuned next week!
Every few weeks we finally fill enough buckets with endcuts and sticks to restock the site. This week with the extra time we packed up a BUNCH and tossed them on the website on Wednesday. If there’s still a box or two available, we highly recommend a bundle for those of you just getting into our materials and looking for a cost effective way to experiment a little bit. Coming in at an extremely affordable cost, these bundles are one of the best kept secrets around Baker, and we’ve seen some downright jaw-dropping creations from these leftover scraps! Grab them while you can here.

Inside the Media
Monday’s Question for our audience was “What’s a skill you’ve seen others master that you just can’t seem to get the hang of?” A quick off-the-top-of-my-head question that resulted in a wide range of responses. From “Being a normal member of society” to more honest answers like Dust-Collection. There’s plenty we see others nail that we just can’t seem to refine ourselves. A good reminder that everyone's chasing perfection!
Waylon’s been killing it with long form video editing this week, so we sped through the first half to give him extra time. Luckily, our hilarious friend Sharky from Flying Shark Knives stepped up with some entertaining media. Waylon and I have always had a blast turning our rugged, hardworking crew into social media comedy gold. This week’s rushed schedule led to a killer lineup of posts, from Sharky’s Gator Facts reel on Thursday to today’s (unreleased) comedic forge reel. We’re stoked about how it all came together.

Sneak Peek 👀
This weekend, we’re thrilled to revive TigerMai - Ripple, a standout layout that blends copper, 1084, and bronze cladding over a 1084 mono-core for a tri-alloy color explosion. Coy’s pumped to bring back this fan-favorite in the dynamic Ripple pattern, crafted to etch jet black with a bold, clean finish. With a hefty batch of flat-ground sizes ready, it’s perfect for makers chasing vibrant aesthetics. Recent drops have sold fast on the Baker Forge App, so hit it Friday at noon EST for the best selection, or join the full release Saturday at 8pm EST.
