It’s Friday again!
The surprise drops once again dominated our media this week, with two separate drops of extra billets from a large bulk orders hitting the site randomly. This relatively new schedule has proven popular and although quantities are often limited, getting some surprise billets in yalls hands is the perfect inspiration to get us through the work-week. Expect another surprise in the mid-week next week as we continue to offer remaining quantities from bulk orders. Don’t miss it, the upcoming drop will feature a new steel than those dropped recently!
Perhaps you saw on our Instagram this week, we finally got electricity to a monstrous press from MT Phillips Metal Works. This beast has been sitting quietly since we moved into the new HQ and we finally got around to tinkering with it a bit. Shop hands be warned, the gears, belts, and moving parts on this beast are not for the light of heart, so no one share the video with our insurance agent. Aside from being an incredible conversation piece, we hope to tool this bad boy out as a hot shear that can b e used to cut and trim billets in one quick, “WHACK!”
Finally, Blade Show Texas is upon us. Like many of you who responded to our poll on socials, most of our crew won’t be at this show, as we send our fearless leader, Coy and his wife each year to texas to enjoy the weekend and catch up with all our pals in the industry. The weekend is a fantastic opportunity for our founder to step back from the daily hustle and bustle and enjoy this awesome community. For those not joining the gathering in Texas, we look forward to seeing you at BladeShow Atlanta or BladeShow West later this year!
