Ah, it’s good to be back!
The time away for the holidays was restful, but there’s something to be said for a company you truly look forward to returning to work with. Even after the extended time off, it seemed like the staff had an excited and thankful vibe walking back into work on Monday. With the Christmas holiday behind us, it’s time to put our heads down and get some real work done, as I imagine many of you are.
With a full crew back in the HQ, Jay and the guys hit the ground running. Knocking out some custom orders that came in over the time off and starting back at the drop schedule. Having seen a bit of what’s ahead – trust me, it’s gonna be one hell of a month!

After the initial Gator Piss restock we mentioned in last week's newsletter, the gang also continued their etchant production. Maximizing our stock on both Gator Piss Heavy and MAX as part of the week’s accomplishments. You might have seen Waylon’s fun ASMR-style reel which revealed one of the more monotonous aspects of a restock. If you didn’t catch it it’s over on YouTube here.
With the ramp up to our Stainless Damascus production running far longer than anticipated,
we wound up releasing the monstrous new addition to our forge right in the middle of one of the busiest times in the year for knifemakers. After some time to put the finishing touches (and adjustments) on our systems we have finally arrived at an extremely

consistent, concise, and fine-tuned process. With a range of patterns and limitless possibilities we’re stoked for the upcoming stainless drops but also want to remind you we can process custom orders for unique pieces or bulk orders at any time, simply hit us up over at www.bakerforge.com/custom-orders
Stay tuned for some exciting promotions and information on the stainless damascus line over the next few weeks!
After a pretty big start to the year with the drop of our new Disturbed GoMai, Coy queued just the right followup for this weekend. The OG that got us here returns… but more information about that below.
Thanks for all the New Year well-wishes and support. Stoked to see where 2026 takes us ALL!

Inside the Media
After scheduling nearly two weeks of media ahead of time for the holidays. It was strange pulling into work Monday with literally no media schedule yet on the horizon. Instagram drafts have been working overtime, and I’m thankful I’m no longer at risk of an iPhone crash resulting in tons of work lost! We began the week with a refreshed approach. The New Year calls for an updated Marketing Strategy full of unexpected twists and the new and unique entertainment and promotion you’ve grown to love from Baker. It’s a pretty high bar though– Waylon and I spent nearly all our extra time discussing the year’s media plans, developing some new ideas and circling back to projects we’d forgotten about. There’s some great things coming from the forge in 2026 and we are going to make sure you don’t just know about it, but you found out in the funniest and wildest ways!

Sneak Peek 👀
We’re starting the year with a true Baker Forge legend — RipTide returns in Ripple and Ladder.
100-layer Damascus cladding and core, double copper shims sandwiching a bold 1084 band — the pattern that built this shop. Makers have loved this one since day one.
App opens today (Friday) at noon EST for early access. Full release Saturday 8pm EST.
